Rocksteady Rumored to Be Developing a New Batman Game

It seems like Rocksteady Studios might be returning to the Batman franchise in a familiar way !!!

According to leaker Shpeshal Nick, Rocksteady is reportedly working on a new Batman game. He also mentioned that Sony may be trying to secure some kind of exclusivity for the title.

"I’ve heard Rocksteady is back working on it," he said in response to a Twitter question about dream developers for the next Batman game. "I also think Sony is trying to moneyhat it,” he added.

No further details have emerged about what this new Batman game could be. The main question is whether it will stick to the single-player format of the past games or adopt a live-service approach, as Warner Bros. Games continues to focus on that model.

Rocksteady hasn’t worked on a full Batman game since Batman: Arkham Knight in 2015, which wrapped up the Arkham trilogy. Since then, they released Arkham VR in 2016 and the 2023 Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which received mixed reviews.
